On Saturday, May 16th, 2009 the San Francisco Seagulls hosted their 4th annual fundraising dinner at Bertolucci’s Ristorante in South San Francisco, CA. The annual event was sponsored by Sodini’s Bertolucci’s and featured a silent auction, raffle and a buffet dinner to all in attendance. Each year the Seagulls kick off the summer season with a fundraiser to help cut player expenses for the upcoming season.
The 2009 fundraiser was a big success as 50 of the Seagulls biggest fans had a chance to meet the 2009 roster, buy Seagulls merchandise and enjoy some fine Italian food. Head Coach Doug Price and General Manager Marc Caviglia informed the crowd about some of the challenges of running a summer collegiate/semi-pro baseball team and gave the fans a breakdown of the 2009 schedule.
The San Francisco Seagulls Baseball Club would like to thank everyone who donated prizes and money to make this event the best yet.
